Set up information for Love Southsea Markets

Please read new set up instructions and please welcome our market manager Jamie!

We are a happy market and set up is so simple if you read the instructions here.

Please read all the instructions so when you turn up to the market you are fully confident with all the knowledge for the set up and not be clueless.

During set up, please be mindful of the shops and cafes in the precinct, do not move any of the cafes chairs or barriers - if there is a problem or an obstruction, please contact Jamie or market manager to deal with the problem do not tackle it yourself.

If you have booked in a standard market pitch, you have booked the space you need to bring your own marquee, tables etc.

If you do not have a marquee then you need one in place by your market date. (We do not have any at Love Southsea):
Your set up time is 7:00am - 8am (Saturday) and 7:30- 8:30am (Sunday).

If you have booked in a market tent hire pitch, you need to bring your own tables etc.
New set up is from 8am - 9am (Saturday) and 8:30am -9:30 (Sunday).

Please do not come before these times we are not insured before this time, and it's just really inconsiderate around the market
so do you not come before 7am on a Saturday and 7:30am on a Sunday.

📍
To enter our end of the market please go to the Kent Road end of the precinct,
the gates are opposite St Jude's Church.
